Our requirements for the technology was primary responsive and material design components, stable, easy-to-use and supported library. Moreover, the framework usage must be intuitive and lucid.
How did we start? First, we compared four libraries – Angular, React, Polymer and Ember. We almost immediately rejected the last two technologies as they didn’t support material design, weren’t stable and lastly, they didn’t seem to be supported anymore. So, only Angular and React continued to the next round! This round was about to create simple prototypes, to explore their capabilities and to see which complies with our requirements.
After two weeks of investigation, conditioning and development decision has been made – React.JS! We found out that Angular 1.0 is obsolete, Angular 2.0 is just in beta version and does not meet our requirements. Meanwhile React is easier to learn, makes it simple to control the performance and it supports material design! React is from now on our further direction for Accurity user interface!
